Live UnLtd backs people aged 11-21 who want to change their world for the better. They do this by providing cash Awards and support to launch projects. If you can see a challenge that you want to take on and turn into a project then Live UnLtd can help you make it happen.


You should be:

  • 11 – 21 years of age
  • Living in the UK
  • Applying as an individual or informal group, with your own idea. This means that you cannot apply on behalf of an organisation. For example your school, youth club or youth centre.

What For?

They provide a dedicated Development Manager to offer support and guidance on your project, as well as a cash Award to get it off the ground. They are looking for projects and people who want to make a change.

Live UnLtd is all about supporting people as they launch projects that change their world for the better. When they back a project they provide:

  • Dedicated support from a member of the Live UnLtd team
  • A chance to learn new skills that you can’t get at school
  • Up to £5,000 cash to help you get what you need to get started

Applications to Live UnLtd should meet the following criteria:

  • Have a positive social impact on your community
  • Demonstrate that you have identified a problem and can explain how your project would tackle the problem
  • Tell them what specific activities your project includes and what you hope to achieve
  • Provide a learning experience or opportunity for you

Applications to Live UnLtd should not be for:

  • Your paid employment
  • Political campaigning or the advancement of a religion
  • Activities outside the law, against public policy, or anything that fosters ethnic, religious or commercial disharmony
  • Your living expenses
  • Undertaking academic qualifications
  • Employing others to run your project

Live UnLtd Award can pay for:

  • Insurance
  • Equipment
  • Venue Hire
  • Advertising and publicity
  • Printing
  • Equipment Hire
  • Volunteer expenses
  • Travel (within the UK)
  • Materials
  • IT equipment
  • Business start-up fees
  • Registration fees
